2025/26 Season: Funding Eligibility Form Open

We are pleased to confirm that our Funding Eligibility Form for UEFA C Diploma courses in the 2025/26 season is now open.

The Funding Eligibility Form will be open from 29 May 2025 and will close on 15 June 2025.

We will contact you again by the end of this month to let you know whether you’re eligible for funding. This update will be sent via email.

To apply for a partially funded place, Chase fully funded place or a grassroots affiliated discount in the 25/26 season, you’ll need to complete our Funding Eligibility Form. This will open for two-weeks at the beginning of every month, so you have plenty of opportunities to check if you’re eligible for a discount.

There are there are three different funding programmes available for the UEFA C Diploma.

Chase Fully Funded Places – New for the 2025/26 season!

This is a new programme launching in partnership with Chase, the Official Banking Partner of England Football Learning. If you’re awarded a place on our Chase fully funded places programme, the full £650 cost of the UEFA C Diploma course will be covered by Chase.

Partially Funded Places

Through our partially funded places programme, we fund £555 of the course cost, meaning you only need to pay £95 to take part.

Grassroots Affiliated Discount

And if you coach at a Grassroots Affiliated Club, we fund £150, meaning you only need to pay £500 for the course. You’ll need to provide your clubs National Club ID number when completing the form, so please make sure you know this when completing the Funding Eligibility Form.

Please note; coaches are only eligible for one of our funding programmes per season.

Remember, you must have completed our Introduction to Coaching Football course or The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football to access the UEFA C Diploma. Please make sure you complete these courses before checking your funding eligibility.

About the course

Delivered through a blend of virtual and face-to-face learning, our expert Coach Developers will guide you through the UEFA C Diploma, supporting you as you tailor it to your players.

The course will provide you with practical resources and signpost you to future learning to help you continue to develop as a coach.

The course will last for approximately 16-20 weeks, supporting the principles of spaced learning and giving you the opportunity to reflect and practice what you’ve learnt in real-time.

This course has replaced The FA Level 2 in Coaching Football.

Course prerequisites

As places on this course are extremely limited, you must meet the following criteria to enrol:

  • You must be actively coaching a group of players who regularly undertake training and play in organised or competitive fixtures. This is crucial, so you can be assessed on the key elements of the course and be eligible to complete the qualification 

  • You must be living in England and actively coaching a team in a season-long competition, as our Coach Developers may be required to travel to visit you during the course.

Course structure

1. Course days

You will attend six face-to-face course days as part of the UEFA C Diploma, developing your skills as a coach and building knowledge that you can apply to your role.


The delivery days are split into three modules, each lasting two days:

  • Understanding players and their game
  • Helping players love and learn football through practice
  • Helping players love and learn football through matchday 

There is an expectation that coaches will participate as players in practical sessions. 

 

2. One-to-one progress review opportunities

Between course days, you will be supported with virtual peer and individual sessions with our Coach Developers ensuring effective progression and action planning.

 

UEFA C Diploma 2025/26 season courses now available

We’re pleased to announce that UEFA C Diploma courses for the 2025/26 season are now open for booking.

All currently available courses are listed below. New dates and locations will be added regularly over the coming weeks, so if none of the current options suit you, more opportunities will be available soon.

We’re expecting demand to be high and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

  • Due to high demand, our online booking and payment system may experience performance issues. If this occurs, we will post an update on this page and pause bookings for a minimum of 24 hours to resolve the issue. Thank you for your patience.
  • Please ensure you are available for all course dates before booking, as we are unable to transfer participants between courses.
  • Face-to-face learning days run from 09:00 to 17:00
